You'd probably need a Dual Post / Dual Throw switch. You can wire them
on opposite contacts so they will have opposite functions depending on
the positions.

With that being said - are the toggles still legal? I thought everyone
had to move to the big red switches? The more expensive one from
Pegasus includes 2 auxiliary switches, wired in opposite directions.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [F500] HELP - master kill switch

I have decided to use a toggle switch for the first time as the master
kill on my new car, instead of the big switch with the red key. Is the
correct designation for the toggle switch for this applications as
follows: double pole / single throw with one circuit normally open and
the other normally closed? I thought I ordered a switch with that spec
from McMaster Carr, but when I wire it up, both circuits are on and off
at the same time, not reversed like I need. Am I missing something?

Also, can anyone tell me where they have bought the correct switch?

  Thanks, Cory
