Well it was an scca event (divisional ) at Salina, KS. It was the long and narrow East Crawford Airport. The shape dictates high speeds to a certain extent, but in my opinion, this one got out of hand. They used to hold the "Mirrorkhana" at this location for about 20 or 25 years. Bill Schmidt 88 RD Kawi
>>> "Chuck McAbee" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 07/01/07 4:38 PM >>> Last I recall....Autocrosses were considered 'low speed' events with courses to be designed to limit top speed to about 70 MPH for the fastest cars. I suspect this was not an SCCA sanctioned event. What ratio would I need to gain another 5mph in top speed? I bet there is an internet site that would answer that for me. A 125 shifter cart clocked 104 mph at this event!!!!!
