Just a guess, but you are falling of the HP peak and/or only getting the
CVT
out to 1:1.
I was thinking about that after writing, and wondering in light of your
numbers where the discrepancy came from, and then I remembered that I did
that in a 1/4 mile with only about 60 % of a motor. Last year's engine woes
are almost all sorted out now, so I should have results more in line with
your numbers now.
Thanks for pointing that out though, Chuck. It helps to confirm my hunches
which are so often wrong that I don't trust them myself. 8-)
