Ya, That was my first thought. I borrowed a cable from a guy at work, his son races karts. So I go to ohm it out, only to find no continuity on the center conductor. I took off the back shell and was suprised to see a circuit board with two transistors and a bunch of diodes and resistors. So I just put it back together again.
Things went down hill from there. I don't have a laptop so I had a guy, one of my crew members, from work, load the software from digitrons site on to his computer. We hooked it up and did a down load from the Digitron. Got a error msg stating that the data was corrupt. So we did another down load and saved the second down load data over the first one. Could not get the display to store the setup data. Finally called Digitron. He said just upload the original data back into the display. OOPPS, wrote over it, so now we are waiting for a update to the operating system code so we can upload and download without errors. The guy at Digitron (Ken) said he would send the file to my crewman, but it did not arrive today. Maybe this weekend. I sure hope so, as I must get the car ready and loaded on the trailer this next week. I still need a cable, guess I will just have to buy a new one from Digitron.
