Only two components are of concern in?today's F500 - the CVT transmission and 
the final drive.
1.? The CVT should NOT be a problem at all in standing starts, however,
2.? 36mm (narrow) cogbelt drives are just way too weak to handle it;?the fix is 
wider (62mm) cogbelt drive or roller chain drive.
The FF's won't have a prayer as they are heavier and their 1st gear is too tall 
(if they don't change it).
My gut feeling is that the FIA standing start will NOT be adopted by SCCA as 
too unsafe and too hard on the drive trains.
