I concur. In autocross, we do 4-6 standing starts per event. I have never broken a belt on a start. I built an enclosure to keep stones out and use an idler to maximize the number of teeth engaged on the 23T drive pinion. I did break one once on an extremely rough course in Connecticut. The car was slammed to the pavement; I could feel it bottom out in the seat of my pants. Regards, Tony Jagodnik NER SoloII FM 6 '87 KBS Mk3 F500 [EMAIL PROTECTED]
