Hi J, To be specific, I believe you are talking about a mesh exported from FaceGen Modeller in the Maya Ascii (.ma) format. You can download the sample John face with our hires default mesh in the neutral shape with a full set of blendshapes (as animation targets are called in Maya) from the downloads section of our website. Since this is an actual mesh, in the well-known .ma format, you should be able to use this with many different programs and certainly do not require the FaceGen SDK. I'm not a Maya expert so I can't give you detailed instructions on how to make use of blendshapes in Maya, but perhaps someone else reading this can help out with a step-by-step. Andrew.
