I am interested to know people's opinions of Vedic practices (or practices associated with the 4 Vedas, Upanishads, six systems of Indian Philosophy, and the other aspects of what can be called Vedic culture, Mahabharata, Smritis, Ayurved, Sthapatya Ved, etc.
I would like any details that people can think of. 1. What specifically do you think will die out from the vedic culture, over the next 200 to 500 years, ASSUMING the human race continues, without self destruction, and slowly but surely favors those things which allow its continuance (eg. Health, proper diet, organic food, less use of pharmaceuticals [think of the recent disaster of mood enhancers given to many problem teenages, and other recent pharmaceutical scandal]. Also the fact that more and more studies are showing that polluon directly affects intelligence. Natural selection means that those places successful (or lucky) in limiting pollution will increase in intelligence, and therefore demand less pollution and so on). 2.What specifically do you think will die out from the Modern Science culture, [ASSUMING the human race continues, without self destruction] and slowly but surely favors those things which, through natural selection, allow its continuance and flowering.? 3. What do you think will be promoting to human evolution from Modern Science based culture, and therefore natural selection would tend to favor those that favor such aspects (eg: solar power?)? Interested in people's thoughts. (assuming anyone believes in natural selection as an aspect of nature) Thanks.
