I come off as a loose cannon. I have been trying to give up drugs for a long time. I could use your help in the form of prayers. I can't really be the person I want to be until I stop but it's really really hard for me to give up smoking, and pot, and booze. So could you people place me in your prayers for giving up drugs and gaining more self control? I would really appreciate whatever help I might get. I dedicate all such efforts to the liberation of all beings.I’m not the praying type, but I’m very fond of you, and my fond feelings included the desire for you to be free of drugs even before you asked this. The thing you said the other day about fearing clarity, to which Dr. Pete responded with his own experience, is probably central to the issue. If you could dive deep into clarity and overcome this fear of being no one, that might solve it for you.
