And yet, that would be consistent with MMY assuming that group practice of Yogic Flying DOES have an effect on the environment, which is something that many posting on this newsgroup appear to believe that he doesn't really believe: that he cynically pretends to believe in the Maharishi Effect in order to obtain money to do something else besides create large coherence-creating groups and/or to assure the long-term viability of his organization.
As feeble as he now is, I'm not sure what people think he will be doing with the money... Perhaps establishing a fortune for his family? But then the long-term risks to his family by procuring the funds in such a fundamentally dishonest way would give him pause, or at least, it would give ME pause. People seem to want to find some reason,no matter how irrational, to criticize the person they used to [irrationally] worship as a god, or something. A natural psychological reaction, I'm sure, but hardly constructive. --- In [email protected], [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > > In a message dated 5/22/05 7:28:53 A.M.
