Why do women who get beaten by their lovers/husbands
regularly continue to stay with the assholes - even fervently
claiming to still love them?  Same phenomenon...  When
you've given away most of the responsibility for your life,
it is VERY hard to reclaim it.  When totally given away,
nearly impossible.
