This is not true. All the bijas and yonis have a specific origin. They 
have a rishi, a devata, a chhandas, svara, etc. They have meanings as 
well. I posted on this a while back (on the specific meanings). This 
info was also given to the trancenet people many years ago.

In general a bija will have a three-fold structure and it's form is 
related to the specific sequence of letters in the particular bija 
being used.
