Oh, yes, Judy, Billy Graham was VERY tolerant of other religions.
Indeed, the tolerant Most Reverand Mr. Graham just loved the Jews,
for example:

"The National Archives made public thousands of tape recordings of
conversations of the late President Richard Nixon, who was notorious
for his slurs against Jews. On some of these tapes, were exchanges
between him and the famed evangelist, Rev. Billy Graham.

"In 1972, Graham agreed with Nixon that our nation's problems lie
with the satanic Jews. Both accused Jews of dominating the media, one
of the oldest anti-Jewish canards. Graham went on to blame Jews for
putting out pornographic stuff. He told Nixon that the Jewish
stranglehold has to be broken or the country will go down the drain.
He admitted to Nixon that Jews do not really know his true feelings
about them." (from http://www.beth-elsa.org/be_s0419a.htm )

As for his wonderful tolerance for Blacks and civil rights, here's
what Billy Graham said about Martin Luther King:

" 'I am convinced that some Negroes are going too far and too fast.'
With King in jail he preached civic rectitude. 'I do believe we have
the responsibility to obey the law. No matter what the law may be --
it may be an unjust law -- I believe we have the responsibility to
obey it.' In response to King's 'I have a dream' speech, Graham
critiqued it with, 'Only when Christ comes again will the little
white children of Alabama walk hand in hand with little black
children.'

"After King's death he put King down with: 'Yes, he had his
demonstrations in the streets, while I had mine in lawful religious
services in stadiums.' " (from http://tinyurl.com/ypebsk )

Thank you, Judy, for your endorsement of Billy Graham's "tolerance"
and your insistance that he is not a fundamentalist nutjob.

It's Saturday morning, Judy. Will you be doing your usual Garage
Sale shopping whereby you go looking to expand your collection of
black-faced lawn ornaments?
