Then you're not "doing" it correctly. You're expecting something out of it and forcing. Whatever happens, happens, including feeling like crap. Sorry to disappoint. Pain is no barrier to meditation because you can still think. It may be that your mantra is swept away by a maelstrom of severe pain, but thats OK too (from the meditation perspective). Of course, there's nothing wrong with taking pain medication... Lawson
