I was alive then and a lot of crazy shit when down.  Do I agree with
that action, no.  Do I understand it in the context of the time?  Yes
I do, don't you?  Do you think people can evolve and change from the
POV of their youth?  I sure do, I was following the Maharishi at his

The KKK upheld defacto slavery in the South through terror and murder.
 Black men who were lynched were commonly mutilated first, with
gentile removal as step one.  Ears, noses and fingers were removed as
souvenirs, before they were strung up.
