But using beads isn't TM... And there's a difference between a position for sitting which might help you stay alert better, and some deliberate *activity* during TM. And there are many things you can do before TM to enhance TM, including asanas, pranayama, getting enough sleep, eating regularly, going to the bathroom if needed, etc. I personally, always try to take MAK tablets before I start.
