Actually, I believe you are mistaken. You brought up Kerry and his
purple hearts, out of nowhere, apparently to distract from our
conversation on the casualties in the Iraq War. Nice job, by the
way. :-)
You are semi right here Rory. I was the first to mention Kerry when defining the word casualty. I said the word casualty didn't necessarily mean death but could be any wound needing medical attention requiring just a band aid to a death certificate. The Kerry comment about his purple hearts was an example of how minor a casualty statistic could be. I would still like to see hard numbers about civilian casualties in Iraq and what the extent if the casualty was. I would also like to know how many casualties are attributed to terrorists resisting the will of the Iraqi people to set up a democracy.
