As I posted earlier I am working up my list of e-mails reading and answering them as I come to them individually. I still have several I haven't read yet. But I understand your point and have for my past several posts. And As I said wounded in ACTION could then be interpreted to be just about any injury received while on a patrol in Nam. Doesn't sound very heroic to me. Seems like there must be some additional criteria otherwise they couldn't have kept the average soldier a full tour of duty. That is one reason why swiftees didn't like Kerry. They felt he used every little scratch or bump to get those 3 Purple hearts to get out of Nam as quickly as he could.
