I can see how my calm demeanor could come across as cold to someone whose 
emotional body is often (always?) in a heightened state of inflamed passion. 
It's also my nature to write with few words, and this wouldn't be the first 
time that people read negativity into my curtness.

Her comment to me came across like a mother wagging her finger, saying I 
shouldn't be discussing the nature of non-vegetarian diets. I was mildly 
annoyed, but to say my response was "dripping sulfuric acid" is a gross 
exaggeration.
