Once again we see Bluey challenging the community here to pony up some sort of response on an issue about which he's taken a stance.
But what good the question if the questioner is a coward who has historically been unable to have a discussion here because -- his intellectual abilities being merely middlin'-- he gets in over his head on any philosophical topic, panics, and then begins abusing folks as he haughtily struts around singing a hymn to himself while tying off and shooting up his drug of choice: obfuscation? Many a poster here has thrown down a hefty challenge to him, and he simply has always run from the topic once his lack of intellect begins to be obvious. The next time a newbie shows up here, really now, shouldn't we in all love and fairness warn that person about Bluey the Odious Clod? Why do we allow a new heart to walk into this clear and present danger without our shouting "heads up" in unison? Are we in league with this troll that we watch him set someone up by being initially charming? Don't we know that eventually he will spring his trap and thumb his nose at someone who never saw it coming? That newbie will then be, in our public view, ashamed for having been "taken in like a Three Card Monte sucker" by BlueBarry's mask of friendliness only to find that only a fool would think BlueBarry has ever had a friend in his whole life. That's what we, as a community, do to newbies -- we watch our trolls stalk and eventually attack them. This is wrong. This is wrong of us. Case in point: Meow. Here's a person with a heart that sings sweet astral flowers into every ear at Rick Party and who's openly ping-ponging with BlueBerry right now. Don't we all know it is only a matter of time before he viciously smacks her for being, well, being anything that his vermin mind blurts out that satisfies his addiction to snarking? It is a given that he will in no way coddle Meow or honor her spirit if she "fucks up according to Emperor BlueBarry's New Bible." We all know how this will go down, and all it takes from Meow will be posting anything on a day that finds BlueBarry's hate-tank needing to be topped off. Meow's like this hippie chick putting a flower into the muzzle of a Kent State guardsman and expecting that soldier to never pull the trigger. That's how innocent Meow is and how vile Barry will eventually be to her. Hopefully, he'll put her into a special status and never do this to her just to prove me wrong. That would be great. Meow, gotta ask, have you seen him in action here enough that you get it that BlueBarry is FFL's equivalent of the last bear that Timothy Treadwell had lunch with? Meow, do you believe in God? If so, look out. Meow, did you vote for Hillary? If so, look out. Meow, do you think spiritual evolution is possible? If so look out. Meow, do you practice TM? If so, look out. Meow, do you think it's generally ill advised for a man to target much younger women for sex with zero intent to have a relationship that steps up to the May-December challenges? If so, look out. Meow, do you think that it would be unlikely that someone can levitate and become invisible in front of large crowds repeatedly and yet there are no headlines, no reports, no scientific inquiry about such siddhis? If so, look out. Meow, do you think you've got a lock on certain truths? If so, look out. Now, what will Barry's response be to this post? If I really lay into him, generally he ignores it and stops posting about the topic for a while, or he'll say something like, "Look at Edg sucking up to a newbie." Or, he'll use my name in another post on another thread in such a way as to refer to this post obliquely with a snark about "Edg the suck-up" or whatever. If Barry were a real man, he'd stand up and face his detractors here about his conduct and its impact on the scholarly nature of our group's intent to discover nuggets in scripture, feel the hearts of others as we share resonance, and delight in the variety of POVs here -- you know, those things that make Barry puke. MANY posters here deride Barry consistently for the above personality flaws, and his willful intent to maraud our party is the proof that Barry is but a rat in a sleeping infant's crib.
