Modern Fundamentalists have certain beliefs and practices  that go 
against Masonry practices and beliefs, or so I understand.

googling "freemason beliefs and practices" yields manyhits by 
fundamentalist organizations,both Christian and Moslem, that warn 
against participation in Freemasonry.
