Anonymity has nothing to do with it.  We're all basically
anonymous in real life, too, just calling ourselves the things
that others called us as we were growing up.

For me, the thing that makes this board more interesting
than most others is that here I encounter people who, when
they discuss the myriad experiences that encompass what
we call enlightenment, I can actually *feel* the enlightenment
"coming through" in the posts.  I cannot tell you *how*, I cannot
provide any explanation for why that might be, but it is.  Having
"been there, done that" myself, however briefly, it's like some-
thing in me still recognizes that infinity when I encounter it, 
even in posts on the Internet.  Go figure.

You can choose to scoff and disbelieve this if you want, but
I'm trying to reply to a sceptical, put-down question with an
honest answer.
