I was thinking about those that create false selves that are so real to them, that they forget they created them, in order to protect themselves. Based in fear, looking for safety. One creates a false self in order to not have to create a healthy boundary. We are not taught to understand what a healthy boundary is and that we have the right to set them. If one does not challenge one's false self, one will never move forward, no matter what philosophy/technique one adheres to.
