Edg, all these years on this forum and you still don't
get why people respond to Curtis and don't bother to
respond to you. He just lays shit out for the fun of it,
for the fun of writing and for the fun of playing with
words and ideas, and...uh...just for fun, period. Your
response or non-response -- *anyone's* response or non-
response -- is not part of the equation.

You throw stuff out that you find fascinating and then
throw a succession of tantrums when no one CARES whether
water lines up like Nazi troops parading in front of the
Reichstag when you shine a light on it. When people don't
react, you go all drama queen about it, as if by not
finding it interesting, they are saying that they don't
find YOU interesting.

Uh...scratch that. That may be exactly what their silence
is saying. :-)

One gets the feeling that Curtis doesn't take himself all
SERIOUSLY and that he doesn't demand that others do. You,
not so much. Just the opposite, in fact. I've been trying
to clue you in to this side of yourself since you first
appeared here, and you still seem oblivious to it.

Curtis' writings are like gifts. He just throws them out
and allows people to enjoy them, ignore them, or (best)
take them and run with them and have fun with them.

Your writings (along with several others' writing on this
forum) are like invoices. You throw them out and then
demand payment, in the form of attention. Some of us have
gotten used to marking them "Return To Sender" and sending
them back unopened, that's all.

"Seriousness is not a virtue." - G.K. Chesterton
