My bedtime Ravi, my brain will now shut down. That's from the viewpoint of experience - it will mostly be quiet with lots of turning in the night, and dreams, and then something like a person will show up in the morning, unless I die in the night. I don't think Chalmers or Dennett would be interested in a dead brain. Your brain though, now that might be a treat for someone. A brain that is highly rational in certain situations, and on the edge of sanity otherwise.
As you always seem close to combustion, I would not become a Buddhist, as you know, some members of some of those sects seem to have a habit of setting themselves on fire when things do not go according to their beliefs. By the way the lack of an inner life does not preclude the absence of a full rich life. It is just that if you are deeply embodied, lack of inner life seems like non-existence, death even, but that is just the misunderstanding predicated by delusion. --- In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, Ravi Chivukula <chivukula.ravi@...> wrote: > > Xeno - Here's an interesting conundrum for you, considering the absence of > rich inner life in your Unity. > > If you die and your brain is donated how would be more happy - Chalmers or > Dennett? > > > > On Wed, Jun 5, 2013 at 7:06 PM, Ravi Chivukula <chivukula.ravi@...>wrote: > > > No anger and arrogance in your enlightenment?
