Maybe so, but when I was in Japan in the late 60s 
I could just walk in to the JVC or SONY store and
buy all kinds of Japanese high quality items. I
bought a Quad Pioneer receiver at the Pioneer 
store one day. I just walked in, pointed, and said
"That one."

These days, almost all computer electronics is
manufactured in Asia, and Schwinn bicycles too. 
You can hardly find a shirt not made in China! 

Go figure.
