Why should he expect it to pass? Why should he want it to pass? It's
been the case for well over a decade, first on alt.m.t and now here,
as long as I've known him. This is how he likes it. He'll be
dumbfounded that you don't realize how hard he works at being
disliked. (It's called making a virtue of necessity.)
In some ways you and he are very much alike. The big difference is
that his apparent brainlessness is intentional.
