The restaurant I went to yesterday doesn't have any black bean sauce dishes on the menu. What regional cuisine is that from? Most Chinese restaurants where I grew up in the northwest were Cantonese. Later Szechuan restaurants began opening as well as Mongolian. Thai seems to vary quite a bit due to family traditional recipes. And of course there northern, southern and Punjabi Indian restaurants.

That wasn't exactly a "mild rain" we got last night that is still coming down. And more rain is showing in the forecast. Like I said last month, the climate has changed so much that rain would probably be delayed until late January or February. On a KGO talk show someone called in and said that the almanac even said it would be delayed. It was the flatlanders who were getting alarmed about a drought.

Hopefully there is no cesium in this rain. Keep an eye on that here:

You should try pork ribs with bok choy and black bean sauce, and served with rice. If you haven't tasted it, you should try it. That's one of my favorite Chinese dishes.

Also, Jupiter, a watery graha, will be exalted this summer in the sign of Cancer. So, it's not likely that a drought condition will occur in California.
