And the benefits of megadoses of pure vitamins were found to be suspect, which is often the case for any disease treated by vitamin pills, even though it is well-established that these vitamins DO have an effect when they come from natural sources. Note that apparently none of these studies were on natural sources of these vitamins. And of course, none were on MAK anyway. Like I said, telling someone not to eat something due to a worry about mechanism when there is ample evidence thatthere IS an in vitro positive effect is silly.
