Well yes, their reputations aside they could have tried being here presenting their ideas in more civil ways on FFL until their presentation crossed the Yahoo-groups community guidelines. Emptybill hangs by a thread in the same way. Emptybill can have some good content but it seems can’t resist dropping the personalized name-calling ad hominem in that fouls the communal guidelines of civil discourse as Yahoo! constructs it. In this current thread Emptybill evidently is back at it. Last week, in came this in response to Emptybill’s writing: Question: is name calling like this allowed on this group? A Yahoo-group (FFL) is guided by the wide margins of the Yahoo-groups guidelines and a reliance on self-moderation that is asked for by Yahoo!. Those who do not have self-control around their writing can get moderated in several ways.
