You assumed an "other" in the phrase "more balanced." I don't think 
Barry meant that to be assumed. My faith in the order of the universe 
is hereby restored...

Eh, that everyone makes mistakes? That everyone has biases that are 
obvious to others and not themselves? Etc? Recall my response to 
Irmeli where I claimed that I had addressed my own problems pretty 
well "as far as I can tell" -- by definition, its impossible for us 
to be certain that we're not biased or blind about some issue.
