That's just your rose-colored-glasses point of view
talking, Bob, not "reality" or some kind of absolute.
The Vedas are just a set of myths, dude.  Nothing more,
nothing less.  They have *only* the value that a person
projects onto them.

Another point of view, and a rather self-defeating one.
The world is *full* of people who believe that they
won't be happy until ____ (fill in blank with what-
ever you believe will make you happy).  It's all
bullshit, an invention of the self to keep Self at 
bay and to keep self from realizing Self.

Pure religion, and pure point of view.  If it makes
you happy -- or in your case, unhappy -- to believe
that, cool.  But others of us have different points
of view on the matter, and we're gonna stick with them.
