My own take is that we identify our "self" as the most consistent set of beliefs, actions, feelings, etc., and that 24/7 witnessing gives a new candidate for "self" which spontaneously gets identified as the "true self" because its there 24/7, unlike the rest of the things that might be called "self." There's not trying or not-trying to define a POV, its merely a matter of definition -- in other words, what gets assigned a certain label when we talk about things either internally, or out loud. ------------------------ Yahoo!
