Actually I was just reading the 3 books by him, and I am tempted to reply: 'Yes, certainly' These books, certainly a good read, have some rather wild and far-out stories which remind me of Castaneda.Certainly interesting, but the thought came to my mind, how authentic they actually are. You know it could all be made up, just integrating a lot of material from Tantrism. But even if its not made up, or poetically enlarged, its all the story-telling of some Sadhu, with extra-ordinary claims. So its all second or third-hand account. When I was at the 2001 Kumbh, some smoking Baba showed me a fotograph of himself hoovering over the ground his head near the ceiling. I'm quite sure it was a fake, looked like the TM Flying pictures. These Sadhus tell a lot of stories. It sin't rare at all to run over people who are claimed to be several hundred years old. (I met one 2004). But according to Ramana Siddhis or Nirvikalpa Samadhi are not a prerequiste to enlightenment the 'natural state'. Also Aurobindo says that he never went into Nirvikalpa. ------------------------ Yahoo!
