An old story (and just a story) told many ways: God and the Devil are walking down the street one day. With little in common not much sincere conversation has taken place. ItÕs a sunny day and the two are enjoying window-shopping and small talk. Suddenly, as they turn a corner, God leans over and picks something shinny off the sidewalk. The Devil notices, but says nothing. The stroll continues uninterrupted. A few blocks later the Devil canÕt contain his curiosity. "What was that?" the Devil blurts out. "What was what?" replies an ever clever God "You know very well, that shinny thing you picked up a few blocks back," says the Devil. "Oh that" God Says, "that was the Truth" The walk continues, but now complete silence has overtaken the two. Suddenly, after several minutes of strategic contemplation, the Devil begins to smile.
