My meditation was like this for 25 years after my mantra got transcended from sound to blissfull vibration in the physical body. It started always totally spontaneously between two happenings, immediately when I woke up in the morning and I also fell asleep to it. There was no choice of starting to meditate present. It was a fully automatic process. It could be described like this: When activity appeared, I was fully immersed to it until I became aware that the inward directed flow of meditation and bliss was not present. Becoming aware of this automatically started the meditative flow again. For the five last years this flow has been present all the time even while I get intensely immersed into activity. And apparently because of this my level of activities has clearly increased. I was quite surprised, when my son asked me once, I think he was 7 9 years old at that time:" Why does dad meditate, but you don't?" He was just looking for the external forms of sitting down eyes closed for certain period of time and not being allowed to be disturbed. There was no such time for me.
