Rather, I think it an indictment of people in an organisation/cult
who superimpose the instructions and/or philosophy surrounding the
mental technique they practise onto the field of activity, something
they shouldn't be doing. Indeed, it goes against the instructions
of the TM Program (i.e. Dillbeck and Wysong were "off the program").

It all goes back to what I keep repeating on this forum: do TM twice
a day and then go into the field of activity and act according to
the dictates of common sense and your own traditions, NOT according
to the dictates or what you perceive to be the dictates of a TM
philosophy (because TM is NOT a philosophy). To do so means you are
bastardizing what TM is.

The dictates of what a reasonable person would do in a similar
situation and common sense is what should have guided the actions
and decisions of both Dillbeck and Wysong, NOT some perceived laws
of nature as laid down by MMY.

So I would still contend that a person practising TM will,
certainly, be a more successful acting person...but that assumes he
is using rationality and common sense in his life and NOT
bastardizing the field of activity with rules and regulations that
are meant to describe laws of nature in an academic setting.
