I would say mixed science.  The blood pressure and some brain wave
research is very good, the saving the world research is pseudo,  and
there's some research in between,ie, potentially interesting if done
by independent scientists.

I'd say something similar is true for tm teaching.  Someone learning
TM from a normal teacher in a nice setting w/o anything else involved
would probably go away with a good taste in their mouth.  It's just
there aren't many normal active tm teachers left and the teaching will
increasingly be done in grandiose culty peace palaces by certifiables.
