Um, no.  As I went on to say, "I was referring to the
mainstream media, TV and print (which is what people
usually mean by 'the media'").

Not the least bit curious, in fact.  If I had meant
to include the Internet, I'd have said, "the media
and the Internet."  That's because "the media" usually
refers to TV and print, you see, not "where I personally
get my news from."

Which raises the question, why do you so often use
non sequiturs in your discussions?  (And not just
