What I think you're feeling is one of the things that Carlos Castaneda wrote about well -- intent. Everyone says something regretable, something that does physical or psychic damage to others, occasionally. We're all guilty of it. We're all human. No problemo. The thing that IMO reveals the person's consistent intent is how *often* they do it.
