Turq,

I feel ya brother!

You taught Judo? I studied some in my Jiu-jitsu training. My first
dojo cross trained us in Judo. I love those sports, but after a while
it seemed too rough on my body. No matter how well you learn to break
your fall you are still landing with force on many throws. The weird
thing was that I was in such great shape but always injured so I
really couldn't enjoy the shape I was in! Brazilian style Jiu-jitsu
didn't practice so many throws but it was rough on my joins in a
different way. Now I just work out and haven't been injured in years,
but I do miss the intensity of those challenging sports. Kayaking is
my current "rush" sport. Not crazy white water stuff but it is still
exciting and beautiful to be out on the water. Ever try it?
