What guilt? I don't feel the least bit guilty. Living in the real
world is what I call it. If solar were affordable and widespread,
I'd buy it without question.

And not a token gesture- I've done recycling every week for the
last 30 years- more than some, less than others I suppose.

I can give you the name of a company that makes solar panels. The owner installed them on his home and was able to run most everything except air conditioning or heating. But since you don't need AC , you could have near 100% solar. That is if you really want to do without contributing to a major power company. But then there is always the transportation issue and plastics etc. Clearly Halliburton has you buy the balls.
