I won't disagree with you there. The owners have a business to run and have to think about sales and shares and making money and keeping readers and an audience. The reporters usually are given some leeway. Wasn't it during the early 90's that a poll was taken and some 80% or more within the media said they vote Democrat? That wasn't hard to figure out if you watched the news every night. It was laughable to constantly hear on the news almost nightly "the right wing conservative, Congressman Newt Gingrich said such and such" while "The congressman from Missouri, Richard Gephart said yada yada yada" Those republican leaders in the House or Senate usually got a few extra colorful adjectives added to their official titles.
