I see that I wrote my point poorly on re-reading it. Thanks for the chance to clarify. I meant that it is great that people in TM now commonly know about mind control tactics so they can decide for themselves if they apply to their own involvement with TMO. My point was that calling TMO a cult or, using your word, calling TMers "cultist" is not useful. But knowing about thought reform techniques is valuable information whether you decide to continue practicing TM or stay involved in TMO, or leave the group and the practice as I have. I do not believe that people who do TM deserve the reductionist label "cultist". I think most if not all the people who post here have taken a look at this information and have come to their own conclusions. I respect that.
