Iceman, I think you are overestimating the unifying value of religion in India when the Brits came on the scene. India was ripe for the picking because it was not a unified country but a bunch of waring Maharaja-run states. It was already divided and only needed to be conquered. I'm not sure I understand your focus on Shankara's Maths and their relationship with MMY. Are you a believer in the traditions that they represent? Do you identify yourself as a believer in Sanatana Dharma? When you use the "Namaste" are you being funny, or is that a term that you are using at face value?
