The thing is all of this sets a weird precedent for the US;
In that a lot of discussion of torture goes against our constitution;
And which was written at a time, when Europe was quite famous for
it's torture and terror techniques, like crucifixion and the
guillotine.
So, we've just digressed slightly under the Bush administration;
We look at the Islamicist's as being medieval, as we have become
medieval ourselves, along the way...

No Roberto, don't forget the Clinton Administration used some of these techniques, loud music and sleep depravation on our own citizens. Remember Waco? One big difference between us and the Islamicists is we don't behead our prisoners or force them to convert to Islam before killing them and once our interrogation is over, they live and are treated well afterwards.
