I wonder what would happen if some enterprising reporter went over to Malawi and looked up not only the father of her adopted child but the adoption agency, the prime minister of the country, journalists etc. and brought with him a copy of Madonna's "Sex" pictorial coffee table book to show them.
Anyone familiar with it? That's the one in which Madonna is photographed not only in full frontal nudity but in all sorts of sexual combinations with both men and women. As well, she has a treatise in there on the joys of anal sex (quite the popular subject of topic amongst polite African society, as I understand it). Armed with such a prop, I wonder what sort of reactions a reporter would get from the aforementioned people. Do you think it would be positive? Love him or hate him, all Jesse Helms had to do to rally other Senators to his cause about federal funding of pornographic art shows was to flash 'em a few Mapplethorpe bullwhip up the ass and fist up the male urethra 8 X 10s...do you think the same approach would work on an exponentially more conservative society such as Malawi's?
