Focusing on who Maharshi is, rather than all the stories of who he is, or perhaps assimilating all the stories, every one, and just resting in that, is an excellent, efficient stretching technique for the consciousness. Speaking of just resting in that, I have been for some time just quietly feeling the consciousness of Shiva (its a long story), then lately have been adding Vishnu, Brahma, Krishna, Saraswati, Ganesh and Hanuman, finding each of their conscousnesses to have a distinct flavor and color. This arose spontaneously, turning in the direction of the sun when alone and giving thanks, not as a result of something I've read or heard. Just curious if this resonates with anyone else?
