I'd venture a guess that Vaj's regular antagonism towards MMY's spiritual development programs is rooted in the reality that MMY has designed the TM and TM-Siddhis program(me)s with minimal dogma, thwarting Vaj's "re-seeding". Given that, sowing basic 'FUD' (fear, uncertainty, and doubt) is his next option. Sort of the "If I can't play, nobody can" approach...
