You miss the point.

The threat which underlay the original tolerance
of guns is gone. And guns should go along with it.
Lesislation along with ferocious policing would 
sort it if, and only if, there was the will.

In England, we saw broadcast an interview with someone
from the Virginia Residents Defense Association (or
something like that) saying that the real problem was
that the University students should have been carrying 
guns. This, he felt, was the solution to the problem,
hence the title to this thread.

And of course, there is a wedge of perverse truth, at 
least, until gunmen leave their guns at home, and use
RPGs instead.
